Born and raised in Vienna Austria, Sonja was introduced to sewing early in life, by a mom that was a trained seamstress with lots of imagination and eye for style. Having lived in Canada over 40 years and now being retired, she is able to take up her passion for creating.
She enjoys repurposing all sorts of media, from making little tables out of discarded items to mixing wall paints to one appealing colour. Now creating one of a kind jean purses has become almost an addiction and she finds the most fun in the design and the challenge to use almost all parts of the jeans and often uses gently used shirts as lining and pockets.
No two purses are every created the same, as each pair of jeans comes with unique designs and gives the opportunity to create something of one of a kind.
She also does custom orders for favourite jeans that no longer fit or as a way to treasure the clothing of a loved one.
Enjoy the style, practicality and durability of these creations.
