Heather Halverson developed an interest in fabrics as a child while she watched her mother sew intricate tiny doll clothes for her dolls. Since 1998, Something Cherished, a mother and daughter team, have been creating quality and durable Canadian made children’s clothing sold exclusively at Village Arts, situated in the village of Invermere, British Columbia. Both Heather and her mother enjoy the creativity in designing a variety of distinctive items.
Something Cherished produces unique one of a kind items for everyone, young and old. A wide selection of hand made children’s clothing for boys and girls, tea cozies, fleece hats and mitts, personalized baby quilts, matching mother and daughter baking time aprons and primitive painted wooden frames and mirrors.
Heather also enjoys the magnificent wilderness of the Rocky Mountains which surround her home and summers are usually spent exploring the mountain tops taking in the spectacular beauty around her.
